This weekend we were back in Galveston again! This time we headed downtown for a harbor tour which allowed us to learn about all the things going on, see some interesting relics, and catch some dolphins swimming all around us, some maritime museum and 1877 boat exploration, and checking out the Strand 🙂
Lunch break chess game and museum :):
What a fun day 🙂
Sunday we went exploring around the Bay, we found ghost shrimp, fiddler crabs, fish, clams, and bird wildlife galore….
We had a great lunch view of the pier and went back for more exploring. All good until I spotted this snake on the edge of the trail…I freaked while Oldest cheered since she loves all snakes!
It was a great family adventure 🙂
Youngest was ready to sing for her UIL Contest Friday night 🙂 She rocked it out!
She is wearing the shirt that Oldest wore to the same competition last year, they decided it was a “lucky shirt” because they both received accolades on their songs and compliments on their outfits lol 😉
I am very thankful for the many blessings I have, most especially the time I am able to relax with my family. One of my favorite weekend activities in the Fall are family walks through different woods in our area; so many stories are exchanged in such a peaceful environment. We really get the opportunity to reconnect without the distractions of everyday!
Thanks for stopping by! Continue around the circle to see how Kristin is thankful.
